So…let’s review
Unearthed Organics is a farm that grows milling corn (for cornmeal, tortillas, etc.), dry beans and chilies for sale year-round to restaurants, households, and wholesalers.
Brave About Veggies sells heirloom gardening seeds and dry goods with Canada-wide shipping. The main focus is corn, beans and chilies, but you’ll typically find other treats in the BAV store as well.
Jordan (me! That’s me.) started the Ruminant Podcast in 2011 as an excuse to talk to and learn from others involved with farming. He now produces food & farming related audio journalism for various podcasts and produces a regular column on CBC Radio’s Daybreak South about farming in BC’s Okanagan Valley.
