Also known as Pennsylvania Dutch Butter, this produces a delicious popcorn. We like popping it in our air popper for convenience, but must admit that when popped in oil on the stove, the resulting texture is far superior.

A quick note if you're considering growing your own popcorn: it can be finicky to cure your popcorn to the right moisture level for optimum popping. Be prepared to have to do some test batches, followed by further drying if it's not popping well.
